
At River City Gymnastics, our mission is to help each child develop a healthy, positive self-image, a strong work ethic, and self-discipline in a safe and fun environment. Our structured gymnastics program is designed to progressively build our students' gymnastic skills and personal confidence.
This introductory class is for ages 18 months to 36 months of age. All classes Tiny Tot classes are 45 minutes and include a warm-up, rotations on beam, bars, floor, trampoline, and fun time. A parent will participate with their child while they learn basic gymnastics and social skills. Upon completion of this level, gymnasts will be promoted to a Preschool class.
This is an entry-level class for 3-4-year-old boys and girls. Preschool classes are 55 minutes and include a warm-up, rotations on beam, bars, floor, trampoline, and fun time. Students will learn fundamental gymnastics skills while learning important social skills that will help them in preschool and other outside social activities. Each class will incorporate a theme such as Directions, Numbers, and Character Traits to increase the learning environment and structure of the class.
Preschool Advanced classes are 55 minutes and include a warm-up, rotations on beam, bars, floor, trampoline, and fun time. This intermediate level class for 3-4-year-old boys and girls will progress the skills they learned in and begin to prepare them for the boys and girls gymnastics programs we offer. KinderGym is from ages 5-6, the class is 55 minutes.
This is an introductory gymnastics class. Gymnasts will learn basic gymnastics skills and vocabulary on all 4 Olympic events, Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. Social and motor skills will continue to be a focus of this class. Upon completion of the this level gymnasts will be promoted to an Intermediate Gymnastics Class.

This is an intermediate gymnastics class, developing athletic growth and discipline. All intermediate classes and 55 minutes. Gymnasts will learn gymnastics skills on all gymnastics apparatus. Prerequisites for this class: gymnast must pass Beginner or placement evaluation.
This is an advanced level gymnastics class. Gymnasts will gain more power and endurance. Our advance class comes in twice a week (Tuesday&Thursday) for 60 minutes. Girls will learn gymnastics skills on all gymnastics apparatus. Upon completion gymnast is prepared to enter the Pre Team program by invite. Prerequisites for this class: gymnast must pass Intermediate or placement evaluation.
Our tumbling class is 55 minutes and this class covers all the basics of running and standing tumbling such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and back handsprings.

Kim has coached for over 20 years because she has a passion for inspiring and developing self-confidence and courage in children of all ages. Over those years, she has had the pleasure of coaching children as young as toddlers to State, Regional and National champions! As well as AAU Junior Olympian Champions.
God has blessed Mrs. Kim with the gift of teaching, she works each day to share that gift with her staff, parents and of course the children who attend RCG.
Mrs Callie is the administrative assistant for RCG. She is the one behind all of our social media and emails! Callie is Ms. Kim's oldest daughter. Callie actually lives in Ohio.
Callie has been around gymnastics her entire life. She was a competitive gymnast for 16 years and has been coaching for 17 years off and on. Now, she is a judge

At River City Gymnastics, our teams compete in AAU competitions. Our goal is to develop well-rounded gymnasts who challenge themselves to improve, while also having fun in a supportive and positive environment. Competitive gymnasts should be highly motivated and committed to growth both inside and outside the gym. Please note: All teams are by invitation only and placements are determined by RCG staff.
Preteam(ages 5-7) Preteam is our entry level into the Team Training Program. Students are evaluated by the coaching staff and receive and invite into the program. . PreTeam is the stepping stone between recreational classes and our competitive team. Gymnasts will grow in the sport by continuing to learn skills based on a progressive curriculum.
